European Family Fun Day 2013
Come and join us for our European Family Fun Day, this event will be held in the Centre from 2pm – 4:30pm on Sunday the 19th May. There will be face-painting, story telling, arts & crafts, and farm animals & lots more. There will be Tea / Coffee available. It will be an afternoon of fun and colour, everyone is welcome, so looking forward to seeing you there!!
Up-coming Plans
As the days are getting longer, we are starting to make plans for the weeks ahead. At present we are putting the finishing touches to our Family Fun Day which will be held on Sunday May 19th this year, as usual it will be a day full of fun, games and plenty of interesting things. It will run from 2pm – 4.30pm, it is open to all Centre users and to anyone else who would like to drop in and have a look around.
We are in the early stages of planning our Summer Camps for July 2013. We will run two weeks this year aimed at 4-6 year olds. Application forms will be ready to pick up in the next few weeks. Please keep on eye our web-page for more details or check us out on Facebook!!
Easter Holiday
We would like to wish all the Centre users a happy Easter, enjoy the break, and if you are travelling have a great holiday. There will be no Parent & Toddler Sessions in the Centre this week, or no session in Caltragh Community on friday 5th April.. all sessions will run again as normal from the week of April 8th. Happy Easter to all!!!!

Money Management Course
SORRY THIS PROGRAMME HAS BEING CANCELLED
Do you need help to manage your money?, Help to make it go further?, Help to manage your household budget, pay bills or need information on saving?
Well our new session’s on Money Management might help! This course will run for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday April 9th and running every Tuesday finishing on May 14th. The session will run from 10am – 12noon, there is no charge for this course. To book a place on this course please contact the Centre on 071-91-46315. Each week will cover a different topic including attitudes to money, spending habits, saving & budgeting skills. This course has proved very popular in the past with great feed back from people who have taken part.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
With St. Patrick’s day fast approaching we are planning to take part in our first Parade, we are asking all past and present users of the Centre to walk with us to advertise the Centre and the resources we provide. If you feel you would like to help out on the day or contribute in any way please contact Sarah at the Centre on 071-91-46315 for more information.
SMArt Art 3
Liz Byrne will be starting new sessions in the Centre on Wednesday 27th Feb 13, These sessions will explore Countries through Stories, Music and Art, suitable for children from 2 – 4years of age and their carers. These sessions will run for 5 weeks finishing on 27th Mar. The sessions will be €20.00 for the term of five. Places are limited so please contact the Centre for booking, all materials will be provided, complementary tea/ coffee for adults. These sessions will have a weekly theme and will run from 10:30am – 11:30am each Wednesday morning.
Up-Cycling Sewing sessions
Following on from our Knitting Sessions, we are starting a fun new session consisting of Up-cycling your clothes!! These session will start on Friday 1st Feb at 10.00am. This will be a fun session with plenty of new ways to change the look of your own items. Booking is essential, please contact 071 91 46315 for places.
FOOTPRINT’s Créche
Footprints Drop-in Creche has had another busy year of operation, with many, many children and families benefitting from the service. Footprints is a service for people who have an appointment or need to attend an important meeting and need childcare urgently.
Its an opportunity for children to mix with others and develop social skills. Children can be cared for for up to a maximum of 3.5 hours.
