Sligo FRC Intercultural Project

Sligo FRC Intercultural Project offers support, workshops, English language learning, and intercultural events for migrant families and new communities.

Events such as International Women’s Day and St Patrick’s Day are celebrated annually.

English Language Classes

Here at Sligo FRC, we offer a range of English classes for language learners of all abilities, ages and learning styles:

  • English classes for beginner, improver, and intermediate levels taught in a classroom environment
  • English Speaking Club- an informal class which includes learning English through games with tea, coffee and treats
  • English Outside- guided visits to local places for immersive learning
  • English for Parents- where parents can bring their young children to class
  • English for Specific Purposes- such as English for Work Preparation and Examination Preparation
  • English for Children and Teens- seasonal camps and some special classes e.g. for unaccompanied minors (16-17 year olds)
